Since 1994, Nightingale has provided exceptional home care for elderly, frail or chronically ill patients, with special expertise in caring for those afflicted by dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
We are a not-for-profit agency that provides private-duty and insurance-covered services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our mission
We are dedicated to helping patients remain with their caregivers and loved ones in their place of residence while receiving the necessary care to help maintain their dignity and worth as individuals.
We provide the best home care conceivable in a cost efficient manner to best serve the patients we care for. Each patient's/caregiver's unique physiological, cultural and spiritual needs are recognized and honored.
Our staff
The health, safety and security of our patients, their homes and their caregivers are our top priorities. All staff members are carefully screened, subjected to random drug tests, bonded and insured. Our home health aides are certified State Tested Nursing Assistants (stna).
All of our nurses, therapists and social workers have the appropriate levels of education and licensure for their fields of expertise. Every staff member must complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing in-service education each year. The combined work experience of our credentialed staff totals more than 50 years. Nightingale is an Ohio Department of Health Certified Medicare/Medicaid Provider.
Our leadership
Nightingale Home Care, Inc., is overseen by a professional board of directors and an executive director who personally oversees and approves the initial arrangements for every new patient to come under Nightingale's care.
