Medicare Services and the Homecare Benefit
If you need home care services, and are eligible for Medicare benefits, some or all of your home care needs may be covered. Arranging for home care benefits, especially home care services covered by Medicare, can be challenging. We'll help you understand your Medicare benefit.

In order to qualify for Medicare Benefits the following criteria must be met.
To receive Medicare assistance, a Nightingale client must:
- Be a Medicare beneficiary
- Be under the care of a physician
- Have a home care need, ordered by the physician and requiring the intervention of a Skilled Nurse, Physical Therapist, or Speech Therapist
- Be homebound, or require a considerable and taxing effort to leave the home, and only leave the home for medical care or an occasional outing
